There are various ways to get your CV done:

If you have an old CV, you can send it along with updated information - work, contact, training etc. - by email, fax or post.
Save and fill in the data entry form here, then email back as attachment. If you don't have MS Word, get the info from this PDF
Make an appointment for personal consultation, and bring an old CV if you have one.

Note that CVWorks is located at 80 Howard Road Orere Point, about 45 minutes east of Manukau City Centre, so a personal consultation may not be convenient for you. We are generally available seven days a week though, so weekends are not usually a problem.  Directions  (Go to link site and type the address given above).

As soon as we have sufficient information, you'll be given a firm price. Once we have prepared a draft CV we'll send a copy for checking. You can come back with any corrections or changes, or simply approve it first time, as is usually the case. Unfortunately, because the occasional person has pleaded that they needed the final CV urgently, but after receiving it have decided not to bother paying, we do need to receive payment before releasing the final document, and this can be done online using Internet banking or credit card, or by bank deposit. On-line payment will show up promptly and CV can be sent very quickly. Bank deposits do not show until the following day, or if over the weekend, until the following Tuesday. You can always email a screenshot of the receipt to prove payment has been made if you need the CV immediately. If having a personal consultation, payment can be made at the time in cash or by cheque. We do not have EFTPOS facilities. Many people stress urgency when ordering a CV. To avoid any delay, we strongly recommend making payment as soon as the CV is ordered. That will ensure the timely completion and delivery.

For details on payment options, refer to "What it costs" page above.

Photos on CV's

Another question that is sometimes asked is whether a photo is required in a CV. This is really a matter of personal choice. A photo can be added at no additional cost. You can supply the photo or one can be taken for you (of course you'll need to come to us for this). We can even fix up bad photos for you! The occasional makeover has been performed and the occasional tie has been straightened and done up where a supplied photo has been pretty bad.
